Don’t you love stories about animals that have a happy ending? I know I do, it gives us hope for the future of this planet. This story is very touching, the gorillas recognized the young girl after 12 years.
Tansy Aspinall grew up around gorillas in Howletts Wild Animal Park in Kent, England, helping her family’s Aspinall Foundation in its work rehabilitating and eventually releasing captive gorillas into their natural habitat. Twelve years after releasing two gorillas, the girl and her father Damian travelled to Gabon to see if they could find their old friends named Bimms and Djalta.
