President Trump went to Capitol Hill today to push Republicans to pass the ObamaCare Repeal & Replace Bill that will come up for vote on Thursday. Trump reportedly was blunt with Republicans, telling them the bill must pass or their seats, and the entire GOP Majority will be in jeopardy. It will take 216 votes to pass (their are 5 vacancies in the House.)

House Freedom Caucus members are threatening to bring the bill down, needing 22 “no” votes to defeat it. It’s amazing they think they can defeat the bill – thus giving President Trump a terrible blow – and then think they can just pick up and come up with a new measure. It won’t work that way. There will be such bitterness, and it will give Trump opponents such a victory, that it will destroy opportunity for consensus to repeal ObamaCare and replace it. They are so ideologically “pure” (in their own minds) they have no common sense about what a defeat for Trump will mean for the entire GOP agenda going forward. They need to get over themselves and support the repeal and replacement of ObamaCare! Vote with Trump instead of Nancy Pelosi.
